It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin G. Gira of Loyalsock, Pennsylvania, born in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gira and Berth Gira (Hollis); his former wife Olga Leberto; and his siblings, Virginia Bower, Anna Maneval, John, Joseph and George Gira.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Beck Nierle; his children, Deborah Porchia and Martin Gira; and his stepchildren, James and Joanna Nierle. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
