He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Marr and LaBerta Marr (Stutzenburg); his stepmother Rosemary Marr (Fish); and his daughter Kellie J. Marr. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Marr (Shaw); his sons, Jason R. Marr (Christine) of Sunnyvale, CA and James N. Marr, II (Nina) of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Mikaela J. and Grayson F. Marr; his daughter Erin; his sisters, Bonnie Softcheck (Robert) of Uniontown, PA and Donna Donoho of Wilmington, DE; and his stepsister Andrea Arnold (Blaine) of Meyersdale.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date due to the current pandemic.
