He is survived by: his sons, Gerald G. "Jake" Shipman, Jr. (Kay) of Loyalsock and Gary E. Shipman of Loyalsock; his grandchildren, James R. Shipman and Allison N. Shipman; and his sister Ruth Bower of Webster, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
