He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman A. Eck and Mabel Eiswert Eck; his wife Mary M. Eck; and his siblings, Francis, Joseph, Lawrence, James, Leonard Eck, Dorothy Fischer, Eileen Hamm and Joan Marie Cahn.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Hutchison (James) of Holden Beach, N. C., Michelle Meszaros (Donald) of Morristown, N. J., Keith Eck (Lisa) of Dahlonega, Donna Kauffman (William) of Mount Holly, N. C. and Alan Eck (Michelle) of Cumming; and his siblings, Richard, Edward Eck, Margaret "Peg" Bubb, Jane Dincher, Mary Ann Waldman, Ruth Hauser and Shirley Tripoli. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
