He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lenig and Sara Lenig (Lauver); his spouse Ridgely Lenig (Ickes); and his siblings, John Lenig, Walter "Barney" Lenig, Jr. and Betty Kline.
He is survived by: his children, Carol R. Kershner (Ronald), Walter D. Lenig (Rhonda) of Harrisburg and Michael E. Lenig (Mary) of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Kelleen, Michele, Scott, David, Daniel, Evvann, Gretchen and Brandon. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home (2100 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
