He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel "Sandy" and Gladys Lyde (Womack). He is survived by: his wife Rev. Crystal M. Lyde; his children, Harrison Purdy of Pittsburgh, Tori Lyde of Philadelphia, Carol Purdy of Harrisburg and Takeena Lyde of Philadelphia; his sister Marcia Lyde-Mosley (Greg) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Tyler Hinson, Desire Kittsmiller, Anali Purdy, Darnel Dickerson Jr., Daelan Dickerson, Tristen Dickerson, Tyler Dickenson and Eli Thabateh; and his great grandchild Skyler Hinson (Scoot). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
