He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Sheldon Minter and Nora Laskey Minter. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kohlman Minter; his children, Kristin Minter of Lower Makefield, PA, Charles L. (Annasue Minter, Jr.), Derek Minter of Saugatuck, MI and Michael Minter of Newtown, PA; his brother Allan S.; his sister-in-law Betty Minter of Jacksonville, FL; his sister Marilyn Minter; his brother-in-law Bill Miller of New York, NY; and his grandchildren, Charles, III, Kohlman, Kendall, Jetsen, Trey and Cade.

“When we lost our daughter Emily, 27 years ago, Charlie popped up out of nowhere and contributed to the dance studio at Penn in Emily's name. Emily went to school with Mike. We have never forgotten his generosity and concern. After that I would see him at the NAC and, occasionally, at Ronnie White's parties. Charlie was just a good guy the world needed. We are very sorry for his loss. Jim and JoAnn Sachs”
