He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mitchell and Valerie Mitchell (Masarik); and his wife Laura A. Mitchell (Ostrowski). He is survived by: his children, William Mitchell (Brooke), Laurie Suhy (Steve) and Michael Mitchell (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Nicholas, Isabella, Alexander, Eli, Ava, Analise and Abigail; and his siblings, Carol Fries (George), Marcia Hill and Keith Mitchell (Bonnie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
