He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Sams Sr. and Alice Kuznicki Sams. He is survived by: his sister Norma "Babe" Sams; his sons, Darren and Darrick; his daughters-in-law, Heather and Violet; and his grandchildren, Barrett, Claire, Hayden, Maximilian and Mya.
