He is survived by: his wife Eileen Nealer Orkis; his son Ronald Scott Orkis (Judy Lynn Greene) of Gibsonia; his grandsons, Scott Ryan Orkis (Elizabeth) and Steven Cody Orkis (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Ethan, Abigail and Josephine Orkis.
