He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva J. Dunmire and Leona Pawloski Dunmire; and his siblings, Rose Wainer and Andrew Dunmire. He is survived by: his wife Marie A. Mazary Dunmire; his children, Eric Dunmire (Danielle) of Cranberry Twp, Dana Capsambelis (Mark) of Lower Burrell, Ryan Dunmire (Alexandra) of Malvern, PA. and Father Mark Dunmire of Slickville, PA.; his grandchildren, Alex (Olivia), Cara, Leah Capsambelis, Ethan, Nicholas, Rachael, Owen and Luca Dunmire; his siblings, Mathew Dunmire (Linda) of Sumerco, WV., Chris Tobin (Jeff) of Allegheny Twp and Daniel Dunmire (Debbie) of Leechburg; and his stepmother Eleanore Dunmire of Cheswick. He is also survived by numerous loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lower Burrell Funeral Home (3124 Leechburg Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (3055 Leechburg Rd, Lower Burrell, PA 15068).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made in his name to the St. Margaret Mary Church Food Bank, 3055 Leechburg Rd. Lower Burrell, PA 15068.
