He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Dimaio and Jennie Dimaio (Rapp); his former wife Patricia; and his stepson Scott Giger. He is survived by: his wife Arleen Dimiao; his sons, Mark Dimaio (Bobbi) and Tim Dimaio; his stepsons, Mark Giger and Troy Calabrese (Alex); and his sister Theresa Hunter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
