She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Maietta and Catherine DeBenedictis Maietta; her husband Peter; her siblings, Dominic, Pat Maietta, Madeline Putignano, Mary Mottola and Susan Maietta; and her son-in-law Kevin Slater.
She is survived by: her brother Michael Maietta (Carroll) of Santa Ana, Calif.; her children, Anthony Turano of Greensburg, Peter Turano (Sharon) of Lower Burrell, Cathy Ingham (Vernon) of Phoenixville, Angela Carrai (Phillip) of Vienna and Anita Slater of Adams Township; her grandchildren, Ryan, Dana Ingham, Lori Hall (Chris), Kayla Turano, Brandon Turano (Karen), Jay Slater (Katya), Sarah Slater, Michelle Wilson (Scott), Alex Slater, Matt Carrai (Caroline), Susan, Hannah and Rebecca Carrai; her great grandchildren, Claire, Dominic, Aiden, Miles, Simone and Jamie; and her nieces and nephews, Elayna Gimino of Glendale, Ariz, Robert Sauro, Johanna Jack (David) and Stanley Fliss of New Kensington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary Queen of Apostles School, Mt. St. Peter Church, or to a charity of your choice in memory of Josephine.
