He is survived by: his wife Alice Shields (Fogle); his children, Deborah Rumbaugh (Michael) of Apollo, Richard Shields (Karen) of Slippery Rock and Traci Reed (Eric) of Grayson, Georgia; his grandchildren, Daniel Adams, Parker Reed, Caitlin George, Madison Reed and Ashley Shields; his sister Darlene Blickenderfer of Plum Borough; and his great grandchild Natalie George.
