The memory of Helen Sobkiw of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hallochak and Eva Hallochak; her husband William Sobkiw; and her siblings, Katherine Zone, Mary O'Hara and Andrew Hallochak.
She is survived by: her children, Saundra Murtha (Patrick), Gary Sobkiw (Susan) and Patricia Dunn (Thomas); her granddaughter Kristen Thomas (Ken); and her great grandchild Allison Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lower Burrell Funeral Home (3124 Leechburg Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:30 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
