With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Kolakowski of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, born in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Franczyk; her husband Albin L. Kolakowski; and her brothers, Emanuel, Albert, Bernard and Henry Franczyk.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Shaeffer (Mark) of Woodbridge, VA, Christine Cullen (William) of Concord, NC, Jeffrey Kolakowski (Rita) of Florida, Jennifer Armstrong (Scott) of Buffalo, NY and Teresa Opyrchal (Charles) of Lower Burrell; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan, Stephanie Doxey, Elizabeth Shaeffer, Zachary, Leah, Andrew Cullen, Melanie and C. J. Opyrchal; and her stepgranddaughters, Jessica Fowler and Heather Armstrong. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
