It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gennaro Pasquale Torchia of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Saverio Torchia and Sylvia Scalise Torchia. He is survived by: his children, Sam Torchia (Cheila), Greg Torchia (Charity), Tina Gray and Lillian Glaister (Ron); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacqueline, Lexus, Jeremy, Aleksia, Marena and Isabella; his great grandchildren, Magnolia, Emery and Arianna; and his siblings, Catarina Yurchick (John), Victoria "Vicky" Joseph and Rosalie "Rosie" Korber.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ross G. Walker Funeral Home (217 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (100 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068).
