It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Blandford of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blandford and Wilma Blandford (Nonamaker); his brothers, Melvin, Gordon "Sony" (Dorothy), Alfred and Larry Blandford; and his nephew Kenneth Blandford.
He is survived by: his son James Chalmers of New Kensington; his sister Phyllis Burkot (Jeffrey) of North Versailles; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores Blandford of Lower Burrell, Lillian Blandford of Leechburg and Paulette Hein of Lower Burrell. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
