She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Steele Gow II and Dr. Doris Gow (Trayon); her siblings, Robin Wingard and Steele Gow III; and her aunt Helen Trayon.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Madden Taylor; her children, James Taylor (Michelle), Rachel Locke (Paul), Margaret Werner and Sarah Harris (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Joshua, Katherine, Jacob, Olivia, Casey Anne, Benjamin, Camero, Jerrod, Levi, Sarah Dianna, Nicholas, Hannah and Jamie Lee. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
