He was predeceased by: his parents, Yolanda "Vi" (Scatena) and Frank Albanese; his aunt Rose; his uncle Clarence "Art" Murdy; and his brother Richard "Dickie" Albanese.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Albanese (Walz); his daughters, Rosina Albanese of Lower Burrell and Maria Albanese of Lower Burrell; his sisters, Theresa Paganico (Fred) of Pittsburgh and Margaret "Peg" Kaper (Bill) of Slippery Rock; his sister-in-law Fran Albanese of Pittsburgh; and his brother Anthony "Skip" Albanese (Patty) of Springdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daniel's name to a Missionary cause of choice.
