He is survived by: his wife Deborah Chila; his children, Sharon Burk (Sean), Denise Crawford, David Smithbower (Tina), Michael Smithbower (Kristi), Cassandra, Michele Batdorf (Michael), Derek Link (Maryann) and Stephanie Link (John Mertens); and his sibling Gail Yanko.
