He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Wassmer (Quiles); his children, Joseph Wassmer Jr., Christina Wassmer, Lisa Wassmer, Mark Wassmer and Brian Wassmer; and his siblings, Janet Wassmer, John Wassmer and James Wassmer.
