It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Pearl Bierly of Loganton, Pennsylvania, born in Rebersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene S. DeGarmo and Arlene "Hubler" DeGarmo; her husband Harold J. "Chas" Bierly; and her brother Thomas DeGarmo. She is survived by: her children, James D. Bierly (Betsy) of Bellefonte, Steven K. Bierly (Tammy) of Centre Hall, Tina L. Dickey Mill Hall (Donald), Teresa A. Bierly of Madisonburg and Eric S. Bierly (Shelly) of Warriors Mark; her grandchildren, Destany D. Etters (Shawn) of Mill Hall, Anthony J. Bierly (Meghan) of Kunkletown, Crystal P. Kurtz (Jason) of Madisonburg, Ashley L. Ammerman (Nathan) of Moran and Dylan R. Bierly of Centre Hall; her great grandchildren, Caven, Mallori Etters, Brayden, Haylee, Gatlyn Kurtz and Bryck Ammerman; her brother Ronald DeGarmo; her caregivers, Jessica Vonada and Val Ransdorf; and her great grandchild Iris.
