He was predeceased by: his siblings, James I. Gardner, Harold B. Gardner and Gloria Gardner. He is survived by: his parents, Howard I. Gardner and Shirley C. Kinley Gardner; his grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Gardner and Devin R. Gardner; and his brother Shane M. Gardner.
