She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Houston and Julia Maniscalco Houston. She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Garret; her daughters, Heather Thomas and Cheyanne Garret; her stepson Kyle Garret; her sister Alverta Evans Donati of Pittsburgh; and her nieces, Nichole Evans of Fleetwood and Amber-Lee Evans of Gilbertsville.
