He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Merrill (Lori) of Lock Haven, Randall L. Merrill (Christine) of Lock Haven, Karen Merrill McCloskey of McElhattan and Wendy D. Long (Millard) of McElhattan; and his sisters, Velma Shoemaker of McElhattan and Leotta Summerson (Gene) of McElhattan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
