We bid farewell to Robert L. Aungst of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, born in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 19, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry F. Aungst and Mary E. Laubscher Aungst; and his siblings, Richard, Ralph Aungst, Carol Webner, Evelyn Shoemaker and Betty Hecker.

He is survived by : his spouse Gale Toner; his children, Ronald L. Aungst (Michelle), Robert Aungst, Jr., Tammy Simmons Aungst and Misty Myers (Ronald); his stepson William Laubscher (Candy Jo); and his sister Bonnie Jean Knarr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Tall Cedars Foundation to be used to support those with neuromuscular diseases.
