He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Aungst and Mary E. Laubscher Aungst; and his siblings, Richard, Ralph Aungst, Carol Webner, Evelyn Shoemaker and Betty Hecker.
He is survived by: his spouse Gale Toner; his children, Ronald L. Aungst (Michelle), Robert Aungst, Jr., Tammy Simmons Aungst and Misty Myers (Ronald); his stepson William Laubscher (Candy Jo); and his sister Bonnie Jean Knarr. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Tall Cedars Foundation to be used to support those with neuromuscular diseases.
