He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wert and Jennie Wert (Miller); his wife Phyllis Wert; his children, Keith Wert and Annette Marie Wert; and his sister Mary Glenn.
He is survived by: his children, Patti DeArment (Rick) of Allenwood and Sam Wert (Gina) of McElhattan; his daughter-in-law Wendy Wert of Aliquippa; and his sister Sara Jane Miller of Mill Hall. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ through the funeral home.
