With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard E. Wert (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on September 23, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wert and Jennie Wert (Miller); his wife Phyllis Wert; his children, Keith Wert and Annette Marie Wert; and his sister Mary Glenn.
He is survived by: his children, Patti DeArment (Rick) of Allenwood and Sam Wert (Gina) of McElhattan; his daughter-in-law Wendy Wert of Aliquippa; and his sister Sara Jane Miller of Mill Hall. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of Christ through the funeral home.
