She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth R. Gummo and Ruth V. Sampsell Gummo; her husband Donald E. Newberry, Sr.; her son Phillip William Newberry; and her grandson Robert William Newberry.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Newberry (Laurie) of Delaware and Donald Newberry, Jr. (Pamela) of Howard. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
