She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chadwick and Charlotte Beetem Chadwick; her husband James T. Smith; and her sisters, Charlotte Litchauer of Lakewood, NJ, Marian Meals of Camp Hill, PA and Anne Hurst of Carlisle, PA..
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Smith (Paula) of Lock Haven, Beatrice "Bebe" Fultz (Richard) of Lock Haven and Gregory Smith of Lock Haven; her grandchildren, Annie Dutton (Greg) of Louisville, KY, Jamie Fultz of Hickory, NC and Demian Smith of Lock Haven; and her great grandchild Teddy Dutton of Louisville, KY.. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to current concerns and restrictions from Covid-19, the family is planning a celebration of life for Meta at a later date.
