He was predeceased by: his father Donald "Pete" Sohmer. He is survived by: his mother Emily Grand Sohmer; his siblings, Dawn McNeal of Harrisburg, PA, Stephen Sohmer (Deborah) of Gahanna, OH and Robert Sohmer of Oakland, CA.; his nieces, Susanne Hyman of Harrisburg, PA, Lauren Sohmer (Nicholas Cole) and Dana Sohmer (Keith Harris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Layla, Isla and Lillian; and his niece Mallory Sohmer (Glen Chia) of Chicago.
