He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hecker and Mary Hecker; his sister Margaret; and his wife Betty Hecker. He is survived by: his children, Joyce Micklitsch (Phil), Linda Forster (Jeff) and David Aungst; and also, Richard, Ralph, Evelyn, Carol, Bonnie Knarr of Jersey Shore, Robert Aungst Sr. and Lock Haven. He is also survived by his parents, he was raised by his aunt and uncle.
