Carey of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Carey and Thelma Loretta Tripp Carey; her sister Romayne Conklin; and her pet Maxwell Piper. She is survived by: her close friend Curtin Candor; her sons, James Sweitzer, Jr. (Sandra) and Ned Sinkavitch; her sister Joyce Holland of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Hope Sipocz, Richard Edwards, Summer Polozola, Jennifer Rivera, Jasmine Sinkavitch, Melissa Cruz, Jacob Sweitzer, Lexy Sweitzer and Shauna Sinkavitch; her pets, Chase and Milo; and also John Candor. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. or the United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lock Haven.
