He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Embick and Mary Hollenbaugh Held (Lehman); his siblings, Larue, Lucille, Electa, Theora and Earl; his grandchildren, Lauren K. Embick and Lucien M. Snook, III; his sister Janice Gates; his stepbrother Keith Norris; and his stepmother Nellie Embick.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores R. Scaff; and his children, Denise Oechler (Chris), Michael Embick (Marilou), Jean Snook (Lucien) and Laurie Confer (Guy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
