With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena May Welsh (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bray O. Yost and Edna Gingery Yost; her husband Delbert L. Welsh, Sr.; and her siblings, William, Forrest, Jerome Yost, Hazel Waterman Motter, Theressa Welker and Josephine Barnhart.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Frith, Delbert, Jr. (Cindy) of Dunnstown and Amy (Kevin Knarr) of Woolrich; her son-in-law Gary Frith of Jersey Shore; her grandchildren, Micah Clausen, Christine Gorham (Kori), Holly Kiessling (Mike), Colleen DeFonzo (Jon), Elizabeth Long (Chad), Rachel Reiter (Joe) and Anthony Knarr (LaKeshia); and her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Killian, Cole Gorham, Matthew Reese, Kaydince Kiessling, Natalie, Vincent DeFonzo, Jesse and Joseph Long. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to either United Evangelical Lutheran Church or The Gatehouse through the funeral home.
