He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Confer and Maggie Confer (Bates); his siblings, Walter Confer, Milford Confer, Serge Confer, Eleanor Bloom and Mae Decker; his son Randy Confer; and his son-in-law Steven Stahl.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Confer of Rote; his children, Terry Confer (Cindy) of Mill Hall and Lori Stahl of Mill Hall; and his daughter-in-law Jackie Confer of Tylersville. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
