She was predeceased by: her adoptive father Joseph (Evelyn Swope); and her sons, Jason and Joshua Watkins. She is survived by: her close friend William "Monk" Leupold; her son Joey Watkins; her siblings, Brenda Sunday, Beverly Anderson, Jerry Swope and Bernie Walker; and her daughter-in-law Sherry Covert. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
