With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Anne Stern (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 28, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Irvin Stern; and her parents, Frances Baird Tallman and John H. Merrell. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Earl Stern, Mark Irvin (Mary) and Phillip Baird Stern (Susan); and her close friend John Bowes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
