He was predeceased by: his parent John McKinney; his stepson John Fenstamaker; and his brother Gordon McKinney. He is survived by: his parent Hazel McKinney; his spouse Shirley Murphy; his sons, Tommy McKinney (Sherri) of Lock Haven, John McKinney Jr. of Lock Haven, Boyd McKinney and George McKinney of Lock Haven; his stepchildren, Gary Fenstamaker of Bowie, Brian Fenstamaker of Lock Haven, Kelly Smeal (Ralph) of Lock Haven and Jamie Winslow (Tom) of Lock Haven; his sisters, Phyllis Robinson of Lock Haven and Darlene McKinney of Lock Haven; and also, Grimins McKinney and Betty Mincer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
