He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. McLean and Dorothy E. Gordon McLean; his wife JoAnn Roberta Shearer; and his siblings, James R. McLean and Dorothy M. Herr.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Crigler (Melvin) of Pittsburgh, John Phillip McLean of Williamsport, Jenny A. Karchner (Jeff) of South Williamsport and Brooks J. McLean of Loganton; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jessica, Megan, Gillian and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Alexander, Tatum and Payton.
