He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Lachat, and Betty Walker Lachat, Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Sarah Garman of Lock Haven; his daughter Tammy Bishop of Johnstown; and his sisters, Barbara Nihart of Clintondale and Linda Whitsel (Robert) of McElhattan. He is also survived by two granddaughters; and one great grandson.
