He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn D. Rote and Ellen M. Merryman Rote; his son Lynn D. Rote; his brother-in-law Ken Hanley; his nephew Kenny Hanley; and his niece Betty Lou Watkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Parker (Lorenzo Hardin) of Williamsport; his granddaughter Ellen Chaplain of Williamsport; his siblings, Rose Hanley of Beech Creek, Donna Fetter (Tom) of Mill Hall and Carl Brown of Beech Creek; and his daughter-in-law Amanda Rote of Castanea.
