She was predeceased by: her parents, Torrence Miller and Nettie Troutner Miller; her son Paul Strouse; her daughter-in-law Ann Strouse; and her grandson Jordan Selfe.

She is survived by: her children, Monty (Patricia) of Centre Hall, Ronald (Joy) of Mill Hall, Kerry of Rote, Kim (Debra) of Rote, Spring Mosser (David) of Millersburg and Heather Selfe (Jeffrey) of Pinellas Park, FL; her daughter-in-law Kitty Strouse of Mill Hall; and her sister Patricia Zimmerman of Howard. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 21 great, great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Jean's name may be made to either Clintondale United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
