She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl T. Barner and Sarah Caldwell Barner; her spouse Emerson J. Bowman, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Sitnik, Virginia Schrack, Harry and Robert Barner.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Nicholas (Rex) of Utah, Aileen Oldenburg of Wickliff, Linda Stewart (Donald) of Lock Haven and Gary J. Bowman (Brenda Burnell) of Lock Haven; and her siblings, Connie Fetzer of Florida and Harold Barner of Bellefonte. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
