He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rawls Woodward and Mary Alexander Adams Woodward; and his sister Sue Eggleston Woodward of Suffolk, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Gaile "Sunny" Woodward; his sons, Richard K. Woodward of Edinburgh, Reid E. Woodward (Susan) of Hammonton, NJ, John E. Woodward of Lock Haven, David T. Woodward of Athens, AL, Russ Gardner (Carla) of Le Mars, IA and Joseph W. Gardner (Jodi) of Lock Haven; his sister Mary Rawls Woodward Magee of Suffolk, VA; and his siblings-in-law, Diane and Lynford Clark of Hopewell. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a small donation in Jim's name be given to the Clinton County SPCA.
