He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lester, Alice Moody Weller, Charles and Laura Miller Smith; his parents, Joseph M. Smith and Evelyn Weller Smith; and his stepmother Louise Livingston Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Gina Fox; his close friend Rebecca Strouse Smith; his stepsiblings, Tom Livingston (Carole) of Salona and Judy Fraizer of Lock Haven; and his cousin Beverly "Janie" Weller Kegerise.
