We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2023, at the age of 81, James Robert Ely (Lock Haven, Pennsylvania), born in Greenfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert and Hazel Marie Ely; his daughter Carla Reneé Brockman; and his sisters, Patsy Althouse, Phyllis Ely and Doris Ely.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ely of Clintondale; his children, Lisa Hipke (Richard) of Wilmington, OH, Donna Ely of Cincinnati, OH, Amy Quiggle (Ryan) of Mill Hall, Lori Bruno (Tony, Jr.) of Woolrich and Samuel Hoy, III (Sara) of Mill Hall; his sister Betty Jenkins of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jaysen, Ryan, Jade, Courtney, Kylie, Hunter, Sophia and Jackson; and his former wife Phyllis A. Ely of Maineville, OH.. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to either Flemington First Church of Christ or Clinton County SPCA through the funeral home.
