He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Askins, (Price) and Jesse L. Askins, Sr.; and his sister Suzanne Sara Askins. He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse, Jr. (Deb), Susan (Wes Moore), Wayne (Denise) and Christopher (Denise); and his nieces, Dr. Suzanne Woomer and Morgan Askins.
