She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Etters and Edna Etters; her husband Walter Askins; and her siblings, Mary Hanley, Lloyd Etters, Robert Etters, Beverly Rupert, Richard Etters, Relda Killinger and Raymond Etters.
She is survived by: her son Michael Askins (Stefanie) of Mount Morris, PA; her grandson Gerald D Kern of Chicago, IL; her son Stanley of Elizabethtown, PA; her granddaughter Megan of Lancaster, PA; and her siblings, Lois Shawley of Lock Haven, PA, Shriley Seyler of Beech Creek, PA, Carol Rupert of Montoursville, PA and James Etters of Beech Creek, PA.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
