He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Caprio and Margaret Caprio (Gravina); his wife Darlene J. Caprio (Dauberman); and his siblings, Louis Caprio, Stephen Caprio and Teresa Caprio.

He is survived by: his son Louis A. Caprio (Holly); and his friend Belinda Corage of Lock Haven. He is also survived by two grandsons along with his brother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
